Just visited my immobile mom here today. Employees were wiping up everywhere, asking us if we needed anything, constantly checking on her. Everyone was very proactive. What more could you ask for?
My 84 year old Dad has been in the emergency room for over 8 hours waiting for a room. No food, just water. Prisoners of war are treated better. What a joke of a medical facility!

DCH (Don't Come Here) To many horror stories to post here. Avoid it unless you have no other choice. As a general rule, I think the doctor's and nurses are good hard working professional's. The problem is the system is broken. The place needs an overhaul
DCH is not about what’s best for the patient. They were neglectful in discharging my father when he wasn’t in any condition to go home. They are very disorganized and only care about “guidelines” and what the guidelines say about what they should do with a patient. Well the patient is a human being with real problems that need to be addressed before kicking the patient out of the hospital! I wouldn’t go to this hospital if it was the last place on earth!!! Tuscaloosa needs a real hospital! Too bad this is the only hospital in Tuscaloosa!
