The last thing I hate about this place is people slam doors way too much and the yell across the room and they are never professional about keeping thing organized. and it feels like everyone wants to be their own boss.

Try living there for Two years... I am and will ALWAYS BE emotionally Sacred and mental NEVER been the Same

None of the things that have been said are true about this place... now I don't know about the past but the three years I be been working here the patients been able to bathe all day if they want, turn down medicines they don't want, fight staff, and the door slamming sometimes comes from the air conditioning.. I don't know anything about admission but I do know u need a court order but it's also a long wait we have people from jail, prisons, off the street, and from Taylor Hardin so no need to talk bad about the work place there's problems everywhere u go if u had a problem here you just didn't know how to handle it well because I do..... thanks

Also another thing about this place is, the LPN nurses will tell you anything of how to assist a patient, which is being difficult, but they have no clue what it is like because they do not have to deal with them as much as the mental health worker ones do.

For my experience with Bryce, I used to work Night shift and the LPN nurse was trying to tell me how to do my job. She was making me sit a patient up on the bed when the patient is too heavy for me to try and sit up in bed. I learned from orientation that you are never supposed to handle a patient by yourself at any cost. The other stuff, claims he had a weak shoulder and was not allowed to left anything to put his shoulder out of place. At that point I was upset because they knew I was unable to life the patient up from bed and also, it is terrible

For day shift people are way too bossy, each staff feel like they want to be their own boss instead of working together.

I feel like the nursing staff picks on the patients. My brother gets wrote up and they put him on restriction for having temporal lobe seizures. I know the nurses have bad days everyone does including the patients but that's no excuse to mistreat patients with mental illness.

The worst place you can work, when it comes to working for the state. The staff here in night shift, they are very loud and they do not respect the patients when they are asleep. When a patient walks out of their rooms, the staff always makes them go back to their rooms.

I have been trying to get admitted for weeks. I had myself court ordered. The admission staff is THE RUDEST MOST NON-HELPFUL bunch U have ever talked to. Never returned phone calls and after SEVERAL attempts they finally told me they couldn't help me. They lied and said they never received my court order. How would they know it was circuit court? I never told them which court it was through. Horrible staff.. I guess since its state run they don't have to care about anyone.
