This experience is common at this Insomnia location. I would recommend getting your cookies elsewhere, or ordering for carryout from the get-go.
Tried to send cookies for someone's birthday. Delivery folks "won't knock on the door", they tell me. So it wasn't delivered even though the birthday person was there waiting! They tried to deliver again an hour and a half later, but the delivery person claimed he couldn't find the apartment building- it's 300 feet from the store! I could have had the birthday person walk there in 5 minutes, but more than 3 hrs later, they still couldn't deliver and I had to cancel. No birthday cookies for us. Really unbelievable, it's not that hard!! Customer service was nice and they tried to help but it was a disaster, overall.

Awful, absolutely awful. I placed an online order and here I am almost 2 hours later still waiting. They don't have a phone in the store which is ridiculous so calling the number takes you to the master customer service center. I will NOT being ordering again, just down right awful service and I'm really not one to complain. Just glad I planned on paying with cash so I didn't waste any money.
Ordered cookies at 2:30 p.m. for 5:00 p.m. delivery today. Was worried after the reviews I saw online, however, order arrived warm and at about 5:15. DD appreciate the "boost" for her finals week. Thank you Insomnia Cookies!
Most recently, I ordered at about 1:45 am and the manager called me to say that they had just received a "huge 200 cookie order" and that no drivers were able to come deliver my order. She told me I could come pick my order up (even though I already paid the delivery fee and driver tip on the app!) or cancel it.
On more than one occasion, I have placed a small order online only to receive a call and be told that they don't have enough drivers to run my order, but that I'm free to come pick it up.
If you can come into the shop, they have the warmest and most delicious cookies I've ever tasted. I am an extremely picky eater, but their food gets a solid 10.
