I visit this restaurant at least three times a week due to where my job is located. I usually get the same thing which is the # 21 with dirty rice and chicken. I add bell pepper and onions. Today I asked if they could put my cheese sauce on the side since when I order it, it is usually dry versus when you dine in. I got a small container of sauce-like the 99 cents sauce from Moes. I was highly disappointed. Once again dry food. I asked to speak to the manager who had a nasty attitude along with the lady working at the cash register. They act like they can't understand English when you have a complaint but they understand English very well when its time to order and pay. I also think they you shouldn't run a daycare in a restaurant. The lady at the register spent more time trying to control and/or cater to her child than she did helping customers. I will not go back. I will dry over to Los Tarascos for lunch from this day forward. The sauce, food, and attitudes are better. You can get a lunch portion of fajitas for $7.95 during lunch hours and feed two people.
My wife and I love going to Jalapeno's. The service is always exceptional, and the food is always terrific. We go about once a week or so and have never had a bad experience. Cannot recommend enough!
I love being able to walk right in and order my queso dip and chips to go. They seat you without hesitation. Always with a smile. And service is very fast. I would recommend checking orders before you leave. Sometimes they skimp you on your dip.
Great food, great staff. Always a great experience all around. Their slow-cooked shredded beef is fantastic.
