It's a Ramada. Don't go if you're expecting the Four Seasons. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel of this kind. The price is very reasonable, and it's within easy driving distance of campus, shopping, and dining.
It was nice and clean, and the people were great! You can tell it was recently renovated. The outside doesn't do justice to how nice the lobby and the rooms are. The breakfast is really carb heavy with no eggs or fruit, but we had a great stay otherwise. Would definitely stay again.
Been here since Friday. Only hotel I could find decently priced but to my surprise, I've had to chase down damn cockroaches. I wouldn't think after paying $500 for 3 nights, I'd have to go around killing cockroaches. Seriously, unless it's the last resort, stay away from this hotel! If you don't care about this issue, then by all means, stay here! This place is by far the worst ever. Never have I had to encounter such a problem. Being a DJ and traveling all over the United States, I can honestly say, this is a horrible experience! Needless to say, I left as soon as I saw a whole band of them!
Everything was up to par. This is the 6th time I've stayed in this hotel. The staff is always friendly, the room is always clean. I have nothing to say about the location, except they close to several fast food establishments. I came down around 0900, the breakfast was winding down, I don't know if I should expect freshly cooked food to be brought out within an hour of closing... but the sausage gravy was beginning to "coagulate".
Not bad. Cheap rooms, friendly staff. The interior has been remodeled. It does feel like an old hotel with a new face. Overall, an ok place for a person in need of an overnight in Tuscaloosa.
