Lady at front desk was awesome the only plant complaint that I have was the fact walking to the hallway smell like smoke like off the wazoo TV doesn't work but I think someone stole the infrared remote control reader but it was $65 after tax not bad for my rate cuz of my work I'm only 13 minutes away from our stop but good place I didn't really check the bed so damn tired so let's good place night
Quiet Property, Nice Rooms, Hospitable Guest Service Associates. . . .
We were charged $218 for this crappy room. There were holes in the bedspread. No phone in the room. The main light at the door did not work. There was a hair clip on the towel bar next to the sink. This hotel is disgusting and worth about $30.
When we first arrived at the hotel, the scent of smoke in the hallway of the first floor was overpowering. The stair area also smelled badly of vomit. The rooms are a bit outdated and need some remodeling but are somewhat large on the positive side. The breakfast is not bad though, and the hotel is right next door to a Cracker Barrell. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Overall the stay at this hotel wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. You get what you pay for if you choose to stay at this hotel.
I will definitely be a return customer.
In a smoking room with no ash tray. Took a shower to find a pubic hair on the wall that is not mine (previous occupant). Shower curtain not long enough (width) , floor got soaked. Unknown white stuff on wall above head board. Free internet can't connect to. No snack machines/coke machine. No bulbs in all the light fixtures . I will NEVER stay at a howard Johnson hotel again!
