We were going to stay at the Hilton, but they aren't pet friendly it turns out. Glad we found this hotel in Tuscaloosa, they offer weekly rates for business trips and rooms incude a fully furnished kitchen, with a dishwasher. Will definitely stay again.
Easy check-in process even though it was late at night. Room is very nice and bed is comfortable & clean.
Comfortable, clean rooms. Kitchenett is clean and well stocked with dishes etc. Well lit parking.
Clean comfortable beds, rooms, great staff. Shopping for necessities are conveniently located near by, many restaurants will take out as well. Nice area.
Front desk staff was very courteous and professional and usually spoke as we left and came again. The room/suite was very nice. The fridge and microwave were unexpected but very useful. There was also a dishwasher and two burner cooktop.Even though we understood "No breakfast" there was orange juice and muffins provided Saturday and Sunday mornings. Perhaps this was because it was a Gameday weekend/Alabama Homecoming. Housekeeping even did a fine job. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? First, we feel lucky to have found this place as hotels were booked. We woke both mornings to smell of cigarette smoke wafting from an adjacent room despite this being a smoke free property. More importantly and I'm not sure what staff or owners could do to fix this problem but the traffic noise was horrible into the morning of 3am. Apparently, there is a nightcub across the street. Cars including a Lamborghini were revving their engines loudly for hours. Police lights and sirens not just in passing but stopped across the street just blaring for 10 to 20 minutes at a time. Friday was bad and Saturday was worse. I would stay again if it was all I could find but will definately try for elsewhere when we come for future football game weekends.
