Also, you should tell the post office to hold packages as our mailman cannot be bothered to deliver mail to the appropriate units. We've lost over $100 worth of packages (plus two driver's licenses which we've had to replace) due to the mailman's negligence.
I've always found it odd that there are no reviews for this complex. Not all of the units are owned by Duckworth Morris, so they're not all the same. Perhaps units that are privately owned are actually kept up to date. The carpet was stained and dirty when we moved in. There were gashes in bedroom doors. The vinyl linoleum was torn in both the laundry "room" and kitchen under the fridge. There are soft spots in the floor. The banister for our stairs was completely removed from its post at the bottom of the stairs. We find bugs daily. There's even a spot in the kitchen where a dead bug was painted over, no joke. Our neighbors are nice and relatively quiet. I've never felt unsafe here, which honestly is the most important thing to me (especially considering the price range. You'd be going to sleep to the sounds of gunshots at other complexes this cheap). Management is pretty decent. The tenants are diverse with a good mix of families and students. You don't move into a complex like this expecting a luxury experience, and honestly it's been about as expected. It'll do if you're lower income. a student, or just trying to live below your means for a bit.
