Don't bother coming here. I brought my mower in to repair the throttle linkage. It started just fine but it would rev too high. They supposedly fixed this but I will never know because now it won't start at all. I cranked it the day I brought it in and it worked fine. When I asked them to demonstrate that the linkage is fixed and to crank it they told me I could take it home and squirt a bit of gas in it and crank it there. This is a shady business and I will never take anything here again.
Looked up their hours on this site and happened to see the horrible reviews so hesitant to even go there. Walked in, man on phone - no greeting. Woman walks out from back - again no greeting just "can I help you?"
Customer service sucks!!!! Stay away!!!

If you go to Lowe's or Home Depot or Wal-Mart and buy a piece of equipment and expect these guys to drop what they are doing and handle your warranty work then your expectations are the problem. Most likely you're already upset because you've spent money on something and now it ain't working. And when you went back to where you bought it from they told you that they don't do the service work. I've been there and done that. Now I buy the good stuff. I've purchased a Husky chainsaw and a Stihl weedeater from Singley's and guess what? No warranty work needed! Just an occasional chain for the saw and some string for the trimmer. However, there is no excuse for rudeness or poor manners...
A few days ago I went into this place of business if you want to call it that, to get my mower repair. After standing behind 2 men, the guy behind the counter asked the man standing behind me could he help him. This guy was Charley Singley, the owner of the place. This guy remained as rude as he cold be to me. I told him that I needed to have my Cub Cabet repaired. "We don't work on them", in a disgruntled tone. I asked did he know where I could get it repaired. "nope" was his response. I refuse to call him a man, because he is far being a man. This is a home town business. Sounds to me like they have all forgotten that the people in Tuscaloos/Northport and surrounding cities have helped them get where they are.
By contrast, the local hardware store is ordering the part and fixing it themselves because they DO have excellent customer service.
I show her invoice from purchase of a mower at a local hardware store and explain a repair needed under warranty. She looks at receipt and replies "we don't work on Poulans." I explain that the hardware store looked it up and that Singley is listed as service center for this area. She replies that they have Poulan parts but don't work on them. I ask if we should call the hardware store. Man behind the counter retorts "We aint gonna work on it."
