Not spectacular but it is great, affordable southern food. I really like the bread on the sandwiches. My friend and I usually get coupons from Hooked or Pocket Points for significant discounts. Great for a lunch out but be careful what time you go because it can get crowded.
If you are a student or you work downtown I suggest having a breakfast here. It is like real home cooking and there is a great vibe where you can just pull out your homework or read a book and have breakfast. I love this place because it feels really authentic. If you are a student from out of town this seems like the place to come for a feeling of the city. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. I would suggest getting the conecuh sausage, but if you like real butter I recomend bringing your own, my one caveat is that they have margarine, but hey, what do expect it is an inexpensive breakfast. I love this place at 6:00 AM, I also hear this is a good place to get a meat and three and well I am a big fans of simple home style meals and Alabama is the best place for this If you are a student from out of state try to get a good meat and three in as much as you can.
The staff at TTown are some of the friendliest people. Amazing breakfast and a great lunch menu as well. The fried pork and caramel cake are fan favorites with my family and friends.
Very nice place to have breakfast before work. They are extremely friendly, and treat you better than family. (They haven't ever said "Im having a bad day").
Fried chicken tenders and vegetables are very good. Food is seasoned perfectly with a southern style.
