We're visiting Tuscaloosa and wanted to try to only eat at places we can't find back home. We're coffee fiends and typically end up just stopping at Starbucks since it is often diffivult to find a decent local coffee shop. But today, we were proven wrong. The location is perfect; central and easy to get to. When you walk in, it's very warm and welcoming. There's no air of superiority or pompous overtones. There's more than enough seating and it's really aesthetically pleasing. The employees are really genuine and want to help. If you order the same thing you would drink at Starbucks, it'll be so much better here. The food is delicious as well. I will definitely be back.
One of the best coffee places this small town offers. Their cold brew is excellent. Lively ambiance. Getting a nearby parking spot on weekdays might be difficult though.
A cappuccino is perhaps the most basic of espresso drinks one can make. I have drank many in my lifetime and they have been executions of the cappuccino concept. That is to say, I could TELL they WERE a cappuccino. This place is an anomaly of coffee science. I received a drink neither resembling a cappuccino not any of it's components. My only guess as to what was handed to me is a cup of over-steamed foam sitting atop the most bland espresso in existence. To add insult to injury, I paid $6 for this abomination (I paid extra for vanilla flavor which was undetectable). My boyfriend ordered a signature drink and to their credit is was as advertised: a cup of pure diabetes drizzled with lab-created caramel. If you are a coffee lover to any degree this place will assault your taste buds and ruin your day.
great coffee and wonderful tea selection. Also a nice place to study. All-around wonderful place!!
Great atmosphere, love the space. Just DON'T GET ANYTHING WITH MILK INCLUDING LATTE. Everything with milk in it tastes like powdered aspirin.
