Nice quiet place to have a drink after work...
One of Tuscaloosa's dive bars where locals and usually a lot of older folks hang out. Several pool tables, booths, and a bar in a large, open room. The long-time owners are friendly, vigilant, and occasionally provide free food for patrons on busy days. Drinks are average priced, but the shots are small. Nice little fenced-in area outside with a few tables.

Jackie's is a Tuscaloosa icon. Located not far from campus, this is the only early morning bar in town. If you need a place to celebrate crushing an 8:00 am final, or some where to drown your sorrows after flailing about helplessly during an 8:00 am final, this is your spot. The crowd is unique compared to the other bars nearby, and the staff is friendly enough.
