I love their biscuits! The BBQ plates, especially the combo plate, can be pricey, but the food always seems to be good. I just hope the quality or portions don't get cut since the chain was just bought out by some investment company. Time will tell, but hopefully everything remains the same!
The best Bbq in the world and that is saying alot for this area known for pork bbq. Best smoked flavor. Cozy restaraunt, brick interior and a full house at lunch. Kind service.
This is the best bbq in town. The pulled pork is super tender, the brisket is fall-apart wonderful, the turkey is a little known item that's a slice of Heaven, and the sausage is killer. The sides are always great too, but the best thing about the menu is what you get for free - THE CHEESE BISCUITS AND HONEY BUTTER!!! I could eat 10,000 of them
Food was great and prices were reasonable for how large the portions were. It was definitely a very nice place. The atmosphere was also very comforting and the staff was friendly. I have yet to find any reason to not like this restaurant. Also, their biscuits were to die for.
Coming from I-20/59 take I-359 exit and turn right on University Blvd. Turn left on 21st Ave at the Federal building. You will see a neon sign about 1/10 of a mile down on right that says EAT. Parking is in back and past the restaurant on the right.
Best food around if you want farm fresh, locally sourced Southern-style Bar-B-Q. Everything is made from scratch daily including their delicious pies, cheese biscuit muffins and lemonade. Bring whole family when you come because they also have some very reasonably-priced kid meals.
