They may be good at doing regular laundry, which I can't attest to but must be what the other reviewers are referring to when they say this place is "good", but they did not meet my expectations for pressing suits.
I go to the law school and I'm a third year about to graduate. I needed about five suits cleaned and pressed. From a lack of reviews of other dry cleaners in the area I was forced to choose this one; I'm from out of state and don't have a regular cleaners here.
The cleaning was adequate I suppose. My "pressed" shirts look like garbage though and are covered in wrinkles. The collars look like they were folded incorrectly and then sat on by a very large person for a very long time. I had to re iron them myself. This cleaners also has no way of providing tickets to their customers who drop off their stuff. This is where the colleagues were stank to me. As if inquiring about a receipt when you're dropping off five one thousand dollar suits is a foreign concept. I guess they expect people to trust them.
First, customer service was decent. The one lady I worked with was very nice, although her colleagues were stank towards me.
Great place to drop off dry cleaning or your whole laundry basket. Just give the nice ladies your address and you can even have the bill shipped home (so Mom and Dad get to pay).
Also one final note: the venue is extremely shady looking. There was an ominous feeling that one could be stabbed or mugged by some common criminal at any time. The building is in shambles as well, parking is abysmal. I've come to find that this atmosphere is common in Tuscaloosa with several hood areas that should be avoided; I believed because of this places proximity to the law school that it would be nice. Needless to say I was wrong.
Avoid for something better...
In short, I'd avoid this place and find a better cleaner if your clothes are worth anything. If however you don't care about your clothes or how you look and would like to patronize mediocrity then by all means.
