Exceptional bike shop that makes every rider feel as if they were actually a pro. The attention to detail and really taking care of the customer is what won me over to this crew. Just purchased a new beauty from these guys with Brad Poindexter building the bike from ground up. This guy could tech for any pro team out there and he is here locally.. how lucky are we !!
Went in today to get my bike boxed up for shipping since I’m moving overseas. Brad was really helpful and pointed out how I would need to put it back together once I got there if I didn’t take it to a shop. He also sent me images and videos showing exactly how it was boxed before closing it up! I knew it was in good hands! AND it’ll be ready to pick up tomorrow. Boom.
Great shop. Brad was able to fix my brake lever (that I thought for sure would need to be completely replaced) after I busted it in a minor crash. He also tightened up my handlebars with wire and they stay in place much better now. Thorough service. I recommend Brad and VeloCity for bike purchases, assembly, and repair.
I can't say enough good things about Velocity. The folks here are amazing; super friendly and go out their way to help you. I brought my bike in for a 30 day tuneup and Brad spent about an hour walking me through everything and made sure all adjustments were perfect. I love this shop so much, I came here from Birmingham. Best bike shop around!
Brad & Adam repaired a bamboo bike that was a fiasco and made it functional (and FUN) again! They also helped get an old, vintage pair of Hercules bikes operational , which was no small task. They are great! All repairs were thorough & speedy. I have also purchased a helmet, gloves, jerseys, and supplements here. This locally-owned bike shop rocks!
Brad even rode with me on the first ride and made adjustments out on the road. From the owner Warren who worked hard to get me a sought after short supply bike to Ed, Adam, Michael, and Collin , you won’t find a better staff and bike shop...period !
