The Tuscaloosa River Market is a premier civic venue. As part of the city's Arts & Entertainment spaces it is available for private event rentals such as weddings, reunions, corporate gatherings and life's many other celebrations.
Each Saturday, all year long the River Market hosts the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market. (7am-12pm) When the venue was established, the Farmers market was the primary function planned for the 5600 sq. ft. space. Now boasting 25 vendors per week in the off season and as many as 50 weekly when the corn is tall, folks can get fresh locally grown produce and enjoy a slice of life at a slower pace along the River Walk on the Black Warrior's banks.
This farmers market building was established in 2012 and its industrial bones include a stage, A/C, audio & visual equipment and clean facilities.
We love the farmers' market each Saturday morning. A great facility for special events too, with a lovely view of the Black Warrior river.
Good place for vegetables cookies watermelons and other things like honey
So much fun! Delicious produce, live music, ATM machine, restrooms, water fountains all available too :) 4 stars only bc it's smaller than I'd like. Also need more coffee choices! Only drip coffee available...
