Some of the best layed out campsites we have ever been in. I don't think there is a bad site in the campground. If you are in a larger RV some of them could be tricky or impossible to get in. Everything is unbelievably clean, sites and bathhouses. Put it on your to go to lists.
Great camping site. It is secluded and peaceful. The facilities were clean and well supplied.
I love this campground. It's clean, and quiet every time that I have been there, and very reasonable priced. It's a bit of a drive, and a bit out of the way, with a lot of turns, and curvey roads to get there, but that's part of the fun. I usually try to stay a night here when traveling through, but I don't advise doing that on an Alabama football Saturday. The traffic on McFarland is HORRIBLE, and there's no other good way to get there.
Awesome campground overlooking Holt Lake. Some sites down the hill would be impossible for big rigs but lots of good choices on the higher sites. Many sites have their own private wood deck overlooking the water although trees do obscure the view somewhat.
The best campground and camping area for RVs tents campers fifth wheels most excellent the staff is awesome they're all volunteers give a big shout-out this place is excellent
